Hello bees, I hope you’ve had a great week, I’ve been busy creating lots of content for my makeup account and trying to soak up as much sun as possible whilst on my daily walk!

I’m back today trying another makeup trend for Spring/Summer 2020. It’s nothing new that bright colours are used in the warmer months but the current colour clash trend gets me excited! It’s super simple to achieve, choose a bright colour for the eyes and then a constrasting bright colour for lips for the perfect clash.
If you know me then you will know that I’m a sucker for bright, eye catching colours. I love working with bold colours and I decided to go full on with my look but you can also tone it down with a a coloured eye liner and clashing lip. The most important thing is to have fun experimenting! Below is a step by step on how I created my look as well as some fun colourful products on the market that would suit this trend perfectly.
When it comes with all trends on the catwalk, they always opt for clean fresh glass like skin. This is my favourite to do and I’ve somewhat perfected this kind of base over the past few years. I started by moisturising the skin well with the Dermalogica Prisma Protect and priming with the Essence Fresh & Fit primer.
For a light but full coverage base, I’ve been loving the healthy dew finish of the IT Cosmetics CC+ cream in shade ‘fair’ and applied this with a buffing brush. Next I added a small amount of the Glossier Stretch concealer in shade ‘G10’. To add some colour back into the cheeks I used blush, bronzer and some natural highlight. All from the Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm palette . To set the undereyes, around the nose and the chin I used the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores setting powder
Moving on to the eyes I only used one product and it’s my favourite for a bright yellow, the Mac Cosmetics single eyeshadow in shade ‘chrome yellow’. This is such a rich striking colour. To contrast the yellow I thought a red lip would be fun and is there a better red lipstick than the Mac Cosmetics Matte lipstick in shade ‘Ruby Woo’?
To finish this look I wanted some natural looking brows so that the focus remained on the eyes and lips. To do this I simply brushed some glycerin soap through my brows to create a natural looking bushy brow.
